Traditional tales with fun and lessons

Do you have memories of your grandma telling you traditional bedtime tales?
Traditional tales have been passed down from generation to generation since the old days and many of them teach us lessons. Even though the characters, including the animal characters, settings and events in stories are described differently depending on the country the story comes from, the main themes or lessons from the stories are often similar.
In the book, we will read four eastern and western traditional tales dealing with two different themes. There are two traditional tales about ‘greed,’ one from Korea and one from Germany, and two traditional tales about ‘faith,’ one is Native American and one is Mexican. The first two show how people will end up if they have endless greed, while the other two show why trusting each other is important and what will happen if that faith is broken.
