In the unplugged version of The Parental Tool Box we have left out the sound effects that grace the standard version. The reason for this is that we realize everyone has different learning styles, so while one person finds the sound effects helpful another may find them distracting. Our belief is that the more often you listen to The Parental Tool Box the more helpful the sound effects will be in helping you remember, internalize and integrate the books various skills and strategies. We recognize that in some situations just having the author speaking will be a better user experience.
