The God the Creator: Audio Bible Studies

The Bible Study Source series provides a unique audio learning experience. Unlike a traditional audiobook's direct narration of a book's text, God the Creator includes high-quality, live audio sessions from the author that cover this important Bible-based topic. These sessions will reflect the ambiance of the unique recording locations, immersing the listener into the teaching.

In this small-group study series, pastor and author Randy Frazee reveals how the story of the Bible reveals two parallel dramas. First, there is a Lower Story. As finite human beings, we view things from a horizontal perspective. We can’t see what is around the bend but must make decisions based on our own intuitions. We struggle to know why certain things happen and why other things don’t happen.

But the Bible reveals there is also an Upper Story. This is the story unfolding from God’s vertical perspective—from above. Heaven is breaking into our world more than we recognize, and the story of God’s seeking love, perpetual grace, and longing for relationship with ordinary people is breathtaking.

The Bible tells us that at the beginning of the Story, God walked with his first children in a beautiful garden . . . in harmonious relationship. At the end of the Story, he will walk with us again, in a beautiful garden. In the time in between, he calls us to walk with him in every area of life. As we do this, and begin to recognize how closely the Upper Story and Lower story fit together, we will experience his love and grace and be guided by his wisdom. God’s story will become our story.

This all-new video study, adapted from content featured in The Story church-wide campaign, will introduce group members to the Upper Story and Lower Story as revealed in the books of Genesis through Ruth. The curriculum also includes an updated study guide with new content and questions adapted from The Story Study Guide, The Heart of the Story, and Exploring the Story by Randy Frazee.
