Who is your best friend? He or she could be your classmate or your sibling. But your best friend doesn’t have to be a human. Some animals can be our best friends by being around us quietly and comforting us. People form friendships when they raise pets, showing affection to them, sharing joys and sorrows with them, and sometimes telling them their secrets. Having a special friendship with an animal has often been a theme for movies. Free Willy is a movie about the friendship between an Orca whale called Willy and a 12-year-old boy named Jesse. Belle and Sebastien is a movie about a 6-year-old shepherd boy and his dog Belle. Like these movies show, friendships with animals have the most beautiful, deepest and heart-felt feelings that you can have even though you are unable to talk with them.

Summary

Anna, a cheerful girl, always looks forward to taking her horseback riding class every week. Anna’s best friend is a horse named Buddy that lives in the stables where she takes her class. Buddy is her best friend because she tells him all the bad things that happened at school and takes comfort from him!
Therefore, she looks forward to the days when she can meet Buddy.
One day when there was a horseback riding class, Anna was practicing horseback riding with Buddy cheerfully. Suddenly, a motorbike came racing up the lane toward the stables and made a roaring sound. Startled by the sound, Buddy lost control and jumped up suddenly! Because of that, Anna and Buddy had a terrible accident...
