Tá ið trøll fara á flog (When trolls fly off) is a lyrical story set in the Faroe Islands. Can the dead body of a child get two families, that have long been in conflict with one another, to reconcile? Can children settle old enmity between their forefathers?
In that moment, when life dies and life is reborn, and the sky collides with the earth, it is impossible to see where earth ends, and the sky begins.
There, you see eternity with naked eyes.
It fills and floats, smells and extends, heavy and humid.
At daybreak, it lifts.
Eternity embraces itself and slips in behind your eye.
No one sees it.
You only feel its weight, before you close your eyes, and they forever become part of the eyes of the night sky.
