In Search of the Lost Chord
QUESTIONS FOR CBSD:
1. Should we consider a 1,000-copy hardcover edition to do simultaneous with the paperback and e-book editions?
2. Note that the title and subtitle will change. We probably need to add the word "1967" into the title and remove references to "Fifty Years Ago Today" so as not to date the book.
Danny Goldberg managed Nirvana when they exploded, and works/worked closely with Steve Earle, Bonnie Raitt, Sonic Youth, the Beastie Boys, etc. Danny is a very popular figure in the music business, dating back to Led Zeppelin and many others.
Goldberg is very tied into the Ram Dass network, which pertains to the book and should provide strong promotional support.
Danny started out as a music journalist and due to his work over the last few decades, continues to have strong ties to national media which will ensure some great coverage.
Danny also has strong ties in the film industry.
2017 is, obviously, the 50-year anniversary of 1967.
Simultaneous publication of paperback and e-book editions.
