When 39-year-old biologist Margie's certain plans to relocate to a remote village in the Karoo with her significant other fall to pieces, she has to endure a change of life and a change of heart as she is won over by the place and people of Waddedene. In a series of diary blog posts, Margie goes from the desperation of being alone, confused, and heartbroken to the gradual realization that she has been given the unusual gift of healing in the strangest and most unusual place. Slowly, in the remotest Karoo village of Waddedene, Margie opens up to the people, animals, and small miracles of nature that allow her to rediscover herself.
