This is the story of the birth of Krishna. Lord Krishna was the eight child of Devaki & Vasudev, who were imprisoned by the evil Kansa, after a prophecy foretold that their 8th child would kill Kansa and end his atrocities. Vasudev carries little Krishna to Gokul and leaves him under the care of Nand and Yashoda, who raise Krishna. Krishna, as a child performed many miraculous feats. One of them being lifting the Govardhan mountain on his little finger to save the villagers from the fury of Lord Indra.
