Look around you. A TV, a computer, a cell phone, a light bulb.... We use various things in our daily lives.
Now think about the daily lives of primitive men who lived a long, long time ago.
Did the things that you take for granted exist back then? No, they didn’t. A lot of things that we use every day didn’t exist long ago, but were invented recently thanks to many people’s ideas and efforts.
As more and better inventions have been created, our lives have improved.
These days we have more comfortable, pleasant and longer lives than in the past. We also have more knowledge making us smarter. Even at this very moment, people are still trying hard to create more convenient and useful inventions to further improve our lives.
