Michael couldn't get the hang of ice skating so he did not go to the lake with his brothers and friends. Instead he stayed behind and built a snowman by the pond. As he finishes the snowman and complains about not being able to skate the snowman speaks to him and offers to help him learn to skate. Michael works with Friendly the Snowman everyday and soon becomes the best skater and wins a prize on New Years Day.
