Puss in Boots is a European folktale compiled by Charles Perrault in 1697 in his book ”Tales of Mother Goose” (”Contes de ma mère l'Oye”). It is a short book which includes eight stories that have become true myths of children's literature: ”Bluebeard”, ”Cinderella”, ”Sleeping Beauty”, ”Red Riding Hood”, ”Puss master in Boots”, ”Fairy”, ”Riquet with the crest” and ”Tom Thumb”. ”El Gato con Botas” (”Puss in Boots”) is the fifth release release by label Marfer of a collection of tales for children. The collection had great success at the time of its release (1967) but the tales remain in full force at the present time because they are traditional timeless stories. They are excellent for children and very suitable for people who want to learn Spanish.
