Life was predictable, though far from exciting, in Boring, Kansas.

I’d thought about getting a job and maybe taking some community college classes after graduation. Those were all part of the plans I’d sort of made with my best friend since elementary school. I was going to college all right, only it was one for witches to hone their skills. Boy, was I ever behind. I hadn’t even known I was one. That should have made things hard enough, but I caught the attention of one of the hottest guys I’d ever seen, though I wasn’t sure if he liked me or hated me. Add to that, I also got noticed by the popular girl who saw him as hers. Oh, and did I mention I somehow acquired a ghost cat as a familiar? Or that the hot guy comes as some sort of magical package deal with his two best friends?
