Hetta er ein sjaldsama stuttlig fólkakomedia, ið Marius Johannesen gjørdi ódeyðiliga í Føroyum, tá ið hann týddi og las hana upp í Útvarpinum í 60 árunum.
Bør Børson ætlar sær at fáa nógv burtur úr lívinum. Ætlar sær at ganga nýggjar leiðir, setur sær onnur mál enn tey flestu har í bygdarlagnum. Øll eru klár at læa eftir honum, skuldi hann beklað. Hann er góðvarin, roynir at fjeppast uppi í teimum fínu, men er eitt fitt fólk við øllum teimum skavankum, fólk hava.
Hann fær sær handil, og tað gongst honum ikki bara sum smurt. Takið er tungt. Skuldin veksur. Hann verður noyddur at svika við peningi.

This is an exceptionally funny folk comedy, which was immortalized in the Faroe Islands by Marius Johannesen, when he translated it and read it on national radio in the 1960s.
Bør Børson is intent on achieving much in life. He plans on going where no one has gone before and sets himself different goals than most people in town. Everyone is ready to mock him, should he fail. He is naïve and tries to mingle with the finer crowd, but he is a decent fellow with the same flaws as everyone else.
He opens a shop and it does not go too well. It is a long haul. His debt is growing. He is compelled to embezzle money. He gets rejected when courting, suffers from unreciprocated love, but recovers with some luck and serendipity.
He mingles with the upper crust in Tróndheim. They see right through the villager. At his lowest, he gets conned one night while drunk by some stock market speculators. He believes himself to have gone bankrupt, his life’s work in ruins, but thanks to a spelling error, he becomes a multi-millionaire. He travels back to Olderstað, affluent, and gets engaged to his first and greatest love.
